Áron Yaakobishvili to transfer from FC Barcelona to UD Almería

Hungarian goalkeeper Áron Yaakobishvili is set to transfer from FC Barcelona to UD Almería. The 20-year-old has already received permission from Barcelona to finalize the move and did not travel with the first team for their recent friendly match against Basel.

The transfer fee is expected to be between 2 and 3 million euros, with reports suggesting a figure around 2.5 million euros. As part of the agreement, FC Barcelona will retain 50% to 60% of the player's rights, allowing the club to maintain control over his future development.

Yaakobishvili, who joined Barcelona's youth system in 2018, seeks more consistent playing time. At Almería, he is expected to compete for a starting position. In his absence, Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has called up Eder Aller to the squad.
