Ronald Acuña Jr. reaches 1,000 MLB hits amid record-breaking season
Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. has reached a significant milestone by recording his 1,000th career MLB hit. With his 202nd career home run, Acuña becomes only the fourth player aged 29 or younger to achieve a specific statistical combination: 1,000 hits, 200 home runs, 200 stolen bases, 300 runs scored, and 700 RBIs. He joins an elite group of players including Mike Trout, Barry Bonds, and Alex Rodriguez.
In a separate milestone, Boston Red Sox reliever Aroldis Chapman recorded his 400th career save. This achievement places him tenth on the all-time list for saves in MLB history and makes him the third Latin American player to reach the 400-save mark, following Mariano Rivera and Francisco Rodríguez.
