Ronald Juckno indicted for withholding 8,500 pieces of USPS mail
Ronald Juckno, a 53-year-old former United States Postal Service mail carrier from Fresno, California, has been arrested following an indictment for failing to deliver mail.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California, Juckno was found in possession of more than 8,500 pieces of mail between August and September 2024. The undelivered items included sensitive documents such as medical records, tax records, financial and insurance records, utility bills, and California EDD correspondence.
Juckno was placed on leave and subsequently resigned from his position after the discovery. He faces a potential maximum sentence of five years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
