Ronald McDonald House Helps Connecticut Family Near Tulsa Hospital, Gets $10,000 BOK Financial Grant
Kevin McGowan and his family spent 61 days in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with their son John. Ronald McDonald House provided free housing, meals and support, allowing the family to stay just across the street from the Tulsa hospital and reduce the stress of daily visits. After the experience, McGowan, an external mutual‑fund wholesaler at Cavanal Hill Investment Management (a BOK Financial subsidiary), nominated the Tulsa chapter for BOK Financial’s 2026 Guide the Giving campaign. BOK Financial employees voted to award the charity a $10,000 grant, extending the organization’s long‑standing volunteer and philanthropic partnership. The donation supports Ronald McDonald House’s mission to offer safe lodging and services to families of critically ill children, helping them remain close to medical care.
