Ronaldinho headlines exhibition football matches in Austria and Croatia

A series of exhibition football matches featuring retired legends took place near the Slovenian border. In Klagenfurt, at the Wörthersee Stadium, a match headlined by Brazilian star Ronaldinho ended in a 7-7 draw after 85 minutes of play.

The event featured several high-profile names, including Wesley Sneijder, Maicon, Hernanes, Valter Birsa, and Marcos Tavares. Despite the presence of football icons, the stadium, which holds approximately 30,000 people, saw an attendance of only about 8,000 spectators. The match was notably divided into three segments of 35, 35, and 15 minutes.

In a separate event in Rijeka, local club Rijeka faced Union Berlin at the Kantrida stadium. The match ended in a 0-1 victory for Union Berlin and served as an official farewell for Damir Kreilach. The Rijeka event drew 8,000 spectators.
