Ronaldinho to debut for Italian club Ravenna in November
Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho is set to make his professional return on November 15, playing for Ravenna in an Italian third-division match against Forlì. The 46-year-old, a 2002 World Cup winner and 2005 Ballon d'Or recipient, has not played professionally since 2015.
The announcement has generated significant commercial interest for Ravenna. The club has launched advertising campaigns, including large posters in Milan, and a partnership with Panini to release special collectible stickers featuring the player. A new official club store was also opened in Ravenna's historic center to sell dedicated merchandise.
Demand for the match at Stadio Bruno Benelli is exceptionally high. While the stadium has a capacity of 4,943, ongoing renovations have limited ticket availability. Approximately 2,800 club members have priority access, with only about 1,500 tickets expected for general sale. Ronaldinho is also a shareholder in the club and is part of its international expansion strategy.
