Inter de Limeira officializes SAF with Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos

Inter de Limeira has officially signed an investment agreement to transition into a Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF). An investor group led by former players Ronaldo Fenômeno and Roberto Carlos will hold 80% of the club's shares, while the existing association retains 20%.

The investment group also includes Saudi Prince Abdullah bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and a Haitian businessman. The project projects investments of up to R$ 454 million over the next ten years, with an initial allocation of up to R$ 20 million planned for the first two years. These early funds are earmarked for professional football reorganization, youth categories, and infrastructure improvements, including the training center and the Limeirão stadium.

Managed by executive Enrico Ambrogini, the group aims to elevate the club to the Brazilian Championship Série A within eight seasons. This move follows the club's recent achievement of securing promotion to Série B for the 2027 season, marking its return to the second division after 35 years.
