Inter de Limeira approves SAF sale to Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos

Inter de Limeira has approved its transformation into a Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF), following a decisive vote by its council members. The decision was reached with 53 votes in favor and only one against during an Extraordinary General Assembly.

A group of investors, led by executive Enrico Ambrogini, will acquire 80% of the club's shares. The investment group includes Brazilian football legends Ronaldo Nazário and Roberto Carlos, as well as Saudi Prince Abdullah bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and a Haitian businessman.

The approved project outlines a financial commitment of up to R$ 454 million over the next ten years. These funds are intended for professional squad strengthening, youth academy development, infrastructure modernization, and the revitalization of the Limeirão stadium. The primary sporting objective is to elevate Inter de Limeira to Brazil's Série A within eight seasons.
