Ronaldo Nazario discusses Corinthians potential SAF transition
Former footballer Ronaldo Nazario has expressed skepticism regarding the possibility of Corinthians transitioning into a SAF (Sociedade Anônima do Futebol), despite the club facing significant financial difficulties and a risk of relegation.
In an interview on the podcast “New Balls Please”, Ronaldo stated that while leading a new management model at Corinthians would be a personal challenge and a motivation, he believes such a change is unlikely to occur soon. He criticized the current leadership, suggesting they believe they are self-sufficient enough to resolve the club's issues, which he warns will only lead to a worsening situation.
Ronaldo, who recently became an investor in Inter de Limeira alongside Roberto Carlos and Prince Abdullah bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, noted that a transition would require a transparent and clear project to be viable.
