Roncoferraro-Ostiglia bridge reopens after early completion of renovations

Renovation work on the Roncoferraro-Ostiglia bridge over the Canal Bianco has been completed ahead of schedule. The project, located in Cardinala on the S.P. 80, was originally slated for completion in October 2026 but finished early, restoring full circulation to the strategic infrastructure.

The upgrades included replacing expansion joints, resurfacing the road, restoring curbs, installing new safety barriers, and repairing water collection and disposal systems. Provincial Councilor Enrico Volpi noted that the early completion reduces travel disruptions and enhances local mobility and safety.
