Ronda completes new free parking facility in La UVA

The Ronda City Council has completed a new free parking facility in the La UVA neighborhood. The project utilizes the site of the former Wholesale Market, which had previously been out of use.

Executed by the local company Obrasport, S. L., the project involved an investment of approximately 600,000 euros. The works included the demolition of old installations and the removal of asbestos from the site. The new facility provides roughly 60 parking spaces across 1,700 square meters and includes improvements to accessibility and traffic reorganization.

This initiative is part of a broader municipal plan to improve mobility in Ronda, which includes other planned parking projects in areas such as La Harinera, near the train station, and San Francisco.
