Ronda disappearance: Four suspects released under investigation
Four individuals have been released from custody but remain under investigation regarding the disappearance of 25-year-old Alejandro Navarro in Ronda, Spain. The suspects, two men and two women, face potential charges of homicide, murder, and ill-treatment.
The investigation follows a major police operation involving the UDEV (Specialized and Violent Crime Unit) of the Spanish National Police. During the search of a residence where Navarro had lived, authorities used specialized equipment, including a mini-excavator, to inspect the property. Neighbors reported that the suspects had recently conducted suspicious excavation work, claiming they were “burying a dog.”
Family members have alleged that Navarro was subjected to abusive conditions while living with the suspects, whom he referred to as his “uncles” despite no biological relation. The case remains under judicial secrecy as investigators continue to search for the missing man.
