Rondônia authorities enhance public security through new training initiatives
Public security forces in Rondônia, Brazil, are implementing new training and recruitment measures to strengthen law enforcement. The Public Ministry of Rondônia (MPRO) highlighted the successful cooperation between various state institutions, including the Civil Police, state secretariats, and the State Attorney General's Office, to facilitate the summoning and training of new civil police officers.
In Vilhena, the Military Police of Rondônia completed the first edition of the Rural Patrol Internship. The 15-day program trained 26 officers in specialized skills such as rural tactical patrolling, crisis management, georeferencing, and applied legislation. This initiative aims to increase ostensive policing in rural areas, improve security for agricultural producers, and enhance community integration in the Cone Sul region.
