Rondônia candidates Jair Montes and Adailton Fúria announce 2026 bids

Avante officially nominated Jair Montes as its candidate for federal deputy in Rondônia, making him the party’s youngest contender for the 2026 election. Montes, the son of the state party president, is being promoted as a symbol of generational renewal and relies heavily on a light‑hearted digital campaign aimed at young voters.

Former Cacoal mayor Adailton Antunes Ferreira, known as Adailton Fúria, became the first governor candidate in Rondônia to appear in the Tribunal Superior Eleitoral’s DivulgaCand system. Running under the PSD banner, his candidacy was confirmed at a state convention in Porto Velho, with Everton Leoni named as his vice‑governor candidate and Luís Fernando slated for the Senate race.
