Rondônia prosecutors charge three in fatal robbery

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Rondônia (MPRO) has filed charges against three individuals for robbery resulting in death (latrocínio) in Machadinho do Oeste. The incident occurred on March 18, 2026, at a residence in the city center.

The accused, identified as M. S. A., H. M. S. F., and J. V. S. G., allegedly targeted the victim, P. S. G., who suffered at least 23 puncture wounds. Investigations indicate the victim was restrained and subjected to physical and psychological violence. During the crime, the perpetrators reportedly demanded bank transfers totaling R$ 3,100 via video call.

Following the murder, the suspects allegedly stole a mobile phone and a Honda Biz motorcycle. One of the accused, J. V. S. G., is the victim's brother. Additionally, one suspect faces charges of procedural fraud for allegedly tampering with the crime scene.
