Rondo Folia to release unreleased 1990s recordings

The band Rondo Folia is set to release previously unreleased studio recordings from 1995–1996 after nearly 30 years. The release includes the single ‘Refrain’, which served as the theme song for the 1996 Fuji TV late-night drama ‘TOKYO23区の女’, and the five-track album ‘Time to get up’.

The upcoming release on September 16, 2026, features contributions from various musicians, including guitarists Tsuyoshi Kon and Masaki Matsubara. Producer Katsumi Nijou noted that the recordings, which had never been officially released, capture the band’s original sound and the distinct vocals of Yosie.
