Rondonópolis gymnasts represent Mato Grosso at Brazilian School Games

Rhythmic gymnasts from Rondonópolis represented the state of Mato Grosso at the 2026 Brazilian School Games (JEB’s) in Brasília. The competition, held on September 14 and 15, featured students aged 12 to 14.

Bárbara de Camargo Roque secured 4th place nationally. She was joined in the competition by Isabelle Costa Raymundi and Heloisa Vieira de Souza Santana. All three athletes qualified through state-level stages.

Bárbara trains at the Associação Cultural Esportiva Alessandra Carvalho (ACEAC), a project supported by the Rondonópolis City Hall that provides free rhythmic gymnastics and dance activities to children and adolescents.
