Rondonópolis mandates transition to national electronic service invoice system

The City Hall of Rondonópolis has issued a decree establishing a mandatory schedule for the transition to the National Electronic Service Invoice (NFS-e) issuer. Starting November 1, 2026, service providers must use the national standard system.

This transition applies to Micro-enterprises (ME), Small Business Enterprises (EPP) under the Simples Nacional regime, and other service providers within the municipality. Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEI) have already been utilizing the national issuer since September 2023.

After the November 2026 deadline, the municipal system will no longer allow the issuance of new invoices, though it will remain available for consultations, cancellations, substitutions, and accessing fiscal history. A testing environment is currently available for companies to perform system integrations and parameterization.
