Ronnie Wood opens Jimi Hendrix portrait exhibition in London

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has unveiled a new art exhibition titled ‘Ronnie Wood: The Jimi Hendrix Portraits’ at the Handel Hendrix House in Mayfair, London. The collection features various paintings and sketches of the legendary musician, including two previously unseen original portraits created by Wood. The exhibition, which is located in Hendrix’s former Brook Street residence, is scheduled to run until April 11, 2027.

Wood, who was a friend of Hendrix and once shared a flat with him in Holland Park, expressed that there could not be a better location for the display.

In related news regarding his musical career, Wood noted that future touring plans for The Rolling Stones are currently stalled. While Wood and Mick Jagger are eager to return to the stage, Wood indicated that Keith Richards has not yet shown the same enthusiasm to commit to new live activities.
