Roorkee: Man shoots and kills two sisters

A man shot and killed his two sisters in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, before fleeing the scene. The incident occurred on a Monday evening in the Gangnahar Kotwali area, causing widespread panic in the region.

According to police reports, the suspect targeted the victims at two different locations. In Ganeshpur, 50-year-old Shakuntala was killed, and her husband was wounded by gunfire. The suspect then moved to Azad Nagar, where he shot 48-year-old Pushpa, who died at the scene.

Local authorities, including Roorkee CO Oseen Joshi and SP Dehat Shekhar Chand Suyal, visited the crime scenes to begin investigations. While the exact motive remains unclear, police are investigating potential family disputes. A search is underway to apprehend the suspect.
