Roorkee motorcycle collision leaves three dead and six injured

Three people were killed and six others were seriously injured following a head-on collision involving four motorcycles in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Friday on Kaliyar Road.

According to eyewitnesses, the crash began when two motorcycles collided head-on, causing the riders to fall. Subsequently, two additional motorcycles struck the fallen riders and people on the road. The deceased have been identified as Ayan (18), Raju (24), and Rajiv (18). One critically injured individual, Aditya Chandra (25), has been referred to AIIMS for treatment, while others are receiving care at Roorkee Civil Hospital.

Local police from the Kaliyar and Civil Lines stations arrived at the scene to assist with the investigation and transport the injured to medical facilities. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the collision.
