Roosenberg renovation project faces formal objections

Plans for a major renovation of the Roosenberg facility have met with formal objections. The municipal government's proposal includes a central foyer, a large hall, a renewed library, a new council chamber with a terrace, artist lounges, and a brasserie.

While the project incorporates various political compromises, Alexander Binon, representing the vzw Meerdaalwoudfeesten, has filed an objection against the expansion, citing its location within a recreation area. The provincial authorities are tasked with making the final decision following the public inquiry process.
