Roosevelt University wins football matchups against Quincy and Chicago State

Roosevelt University secured two victories in recent football matchups, defeating both Quincy University and Chicago State University.

In a home opener at QU Stadium, Roosevelt defeated the Quincy University Hawks 41-28. While the game was competitive in the first half, Roosevelt pulled away in the second half. Quincy quarterback Bradyn Little recorded four touchdown passes, but Roosevelt's offense and defense proved too strong in the latter stages of the game.

Roosevelt also defeated Chicago State University 44-28 at SeatGeek Stadium. The game marked a historic milestone for Chicago State, as it was the first football game in the program's history. Despite Chicago State's offensive production, including 387 total yards and three touchdown passes from quarterback Ashton Pannell, turnovers and a decisive second quarter allowed Roosevelt to maintain control.
