Root Shoot Spirits releases limited-edition Colorado whiskey

Root Shoot Spirits has announced the release of a limited-edition, six-year Bottled-in-Bond American single malt whiskey. The small-batch spirit is produced using barley grown in Loveland, Colorado, and aged in five select barrels.

The release coincides with significant milestones for the company, marking 100 years of the Olander family farming the land and 10 years of Root Shoot Malting. Founder Todd Olander noted that the whiskey is produced using barley that the company grows and malts in-house.

The 750 ml bottles are priced at approximately $75 and will be available through retailers and the Root Shoot Spirits online shop.
