Roparun donates funds to Dutch hospices for facility upgrades
The foundation Roparun has issued significant donations to two Dutch hospices to improve the quality of care and living environments for patients in their final life stages.
Hospice Bodegraven-Reeuwijk received €18,413.88 to refurbish four guest rooms. The funds will be used to replace outdated furniture and equipment, including beds, bedside tables, lighting, and bedding. The goal is to create a more comfortable, home-like, and dignified environment for guests and their families while improving working conditions for caregivers.
Additionally, Roparun donated €35,000 to Stichting Bijna Thuis Huis Swentibold in Holtum. This contribution will support a total investment of over €43,000 to replace aging furniture and purchase essential medical equipment, such as high-low beds, hybrid mattresses, and specialized aids. These upgrades aim to enhance guest comfort and support daily care provided by staff and volunteers.
