Roquan Smith faces scrutiny after facemask incident involving Josh Allen

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith is facing criticism following a play during a Week 8 game against the Buffalo Bills. During a touchdown attempt by Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Smith appeared to grab Allen’s facemask and twist his helmet, an action that went unpenalized by officials.

This incident has sparked significant backlash from fans on social media, with many calling for the NFL to issue a suspension. The play has raised concerns regarding player safety, as similar facemask violations involving Smith have occurred in previous games, including a Week 2 incident against the New Orleans Saints that resulted in an $11,941 fine but no on-field penalty.
