Roque Pérez Executive vetoes Bus Terminal name change

The Executive Department of Roque Pérez, led by Maximiliano Sciaini, has partially vetoed an ordinance that proposed changing the name of the local Bus Terminal. The decree maintains the current name, ‘Presidente Néstor Kirchner’.

While the administration expressed support for honoring the Heroes of Malvinas, it proposed that such recognition be implemented through a plaza located in front of the Los Tamariscos roundabout instead of renaming the terminal. The Executive argued that the current name was established by a 2014 ordinance from the Deliberative Council and should be preserved as an institutional decision.
