Roque Pérez launches municipal outreach program in Federal neighborhood

The Municipality of Roque Pérez is launching a community outreach initiative titled ‘El Municipio en tu barrio: menos escritorio, más territorio’ (The Municipality in your neighborhood: less desk, more territory). The program aims to bring municipal services and direct dialogue with residents to local areas, starting with an event at the Federal neighborhood plaza.

Health teams will provide information on preventing diseases such as dengue, leptospirosis, and hantavirus, particularly in anticipation of increased rainfall associated with El Niño. Services include dengue vaccination information, waste management guidance, and an ‘ecocanje’ program where dry waste can be exchanged for seedlings and composted soil. Mayor Maximiliano Sciaini and other officials will be available to meet with residents to discuss local needs and municipal policies.
