Roquebrune-Cap-Martin promotes slow-paced luxury tourism

Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, located between Monaco and Menton, is establishing a new identity as a luxury tourism destination focused on serenity and preservation. Following its classification as a ‘tourist station’ in November 2025, the municipality has launched a communication campaign centered on the concept of ‘time belonging to the traveler.’

Mayor Patrick Cesari stated that the town’s identity is rooted in its ability to encourage a slower pace of life, utilizing its natural landscape and historical heritage. The destination aims to offer an authentic experience, contrasting with the high-speed atmosphere often associated with the French Riviera. The town’s appeal includes its medieval village, perched 300 meters above the Mediterranean, and its commitment to preserving its unique character.
