Roquetas de Mar hosts Omar Montes concert and traditional music festival

Roquetas de Mar hosted significant cultural events featuring diverse musical expressions. Artist Omar Montes performed an 80-minute concert at Playa Serena II, playing hits such as ‘Matador’, ‘La sevillana’, and ‘Alocao’ to a large crowd.

Simultaneously, the 43rd edition of the La Alpujarra Traditional Music Festival took place in the same area. The festival, which aims to preserve the intangible heritage of the Granada and Almería regions, featured 14 performances including various trovos, songs, and dances. This year's edition honored writer Ana Sánchez Santiago and singer Constantino Berenguer Puga.
