Roraima candidates prepare for debate ahead of 2026 elections

As the 2026 elections approach, candidates for the government of Roraima are preparing for the first round of voting on October 4. The race for governor features five main contenders: Arthur Henrique (PL), Clébio Genuíno (PCO), Farah Mesquita (Solidariedade), Rosi Aires (PSOL), and Soldado Sampaio (Republicanos).

In preparation for the vote, a debate hosted by Rede Amazônica Roraima is scheduled for September 29 at 21:15 local time. This event will allow voters to compare the government projects and proposals of the candidates.

In addition to the gubernatorial race, voters in Roraima will also elect 24 state deputies to the Legislative Assembly. The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) advises voters to bring paper notes with candidate numbers, as mobile phones are prohibited in voting booths.
