Rory McIlroy confirmed for upcoming Dubai golf tournaments

Rory McIlroy has confirmed his participation in upcoming major golf events in Dubai. He is set to compete in the Hero Dubai Desert Classic at the Emirates Golf Club from January 21–24, 2027, where he aims to secure a record-extending fifth Dallah Trophy.

Additionally, McIlroy will participate in the DP World Tour Championship at the Jumeirah Golf Estates Earth Course from November 12–15, 2026. During this season finale, he will attempt to match Colin Montgomerie’s record of eight European season titles. Two clubhouse tickets for the championship are being auctioned by United Charity to benefit Austrian Sport Aid.
