Rosa Bela returns to Portuguese television in new TVI soap opera

Portuguese actress Rosa Bela is returning to national television with a prominent role in the new TVI soap opera ‘Coração de Mãe’, scheduled to premiere on September 7. The 34-year-old actress stated that the invitation surprised her, as she had been primarily focused on her film career and had recently completed a movie.

Bela expressed that while she had previously accepted that television opportunities were slow to arrive, she always felt she had worked hard to deserve such a role. Her husband, actor Carlos Areia, also expressed his happiness regarding her new project.

Presenter Cláudio Ramos offered public support for the actress during his program ‘Dois às 10’, noting a personal connection to her journey. Ramos remarked that they had both faced situations where people doubted their capabilities, emphasizing the extra effort required for those not born into privilege.
