Rosa Montero releases new novel Un día en la vida de Clarita

Acclaimed author Rosa Montero has released her latest contemporary fiction novel, ‘Un día en la vida de Clarita’, published under the Alfaguara imprint.

The story follows Clarita, a meticulous bank employee who has spent thirty years working in a repetitive and often humiliating environment. As she approaches her long-awaited retirement, an unexpected event occurs on her final day of work, disrupting her routine and forcing her to confront her suppressed desires and capabilities. The narrative explores themes of personal transformation, rebellion, and the discovery of freedom as the protagonist breaks away from the passive role she had previously accepted.
