RTL expands Let’s Dance and Dschungelcamp, signs chef Sebastian Lege for 2027

At the Screenforce Festival RTL announced that its two flagship entertainment shows will run their longest seasons in 2027 – the twentieth series of Let’s Dance and an extended edition of the reality format “Ich bin ein Star – Holt mich hier raus!” (Dschungelcamp). The network also confirmed the exclusive hiring of food‑expert Sebastian Lege, who leaves ZDF after 13 years to join RTL from January 2027. Lege will continue his Vox series “Lege kommt auf den Geschmack” and will develop new primetime formats for RTL and its streaming service RTL+. 2026/27 programming highlights also include the comedy series “Goethe vs. Schiller” starring Moritz Bleibtreu and David Kross, Stefan Raab’s “Jetski Star WM”, and a new season of “Die Verräter”. These moves aim to boost RTL’s entertainment slate for the upcoming season.
