Rosalía trends in New York with Schiaparelli gown and XXL designer bag
Spanish singer Rosalía has drawn significant attention for her recent fashion choices in New York City. At the 2026 WSJ Innovator Awards held at the Museum of Modern Art, she received an award in the music category while wearing a bicolor Schiaparelli ensemble from the spring/summer 2027 collection, featuring a black satin blazer with jewel embellishments and a white satin skirt.
In separate street style appearances, the artist made headlines for carrying an oversized XXL leather bag designed by Paris-based independent designer Dana Toder. The one-meter-long accessory was custom-made in collaboration with filmmaker Lili Conzen for the upcoming short film “Krähe.” The bag features vintage-style graphics and was styled alongside archival Junko Shimada platform ballet flats from 2009.
Other high-profile figures at the WSJ Innovator Awards included Lupita Nyong’o in Brandon Maxwell, Ciara in LaPointe, and Ashley Graham in Ernesto Naranjo, highlighting a night of significant fashion and innovation.
