Rosalba Manes to lecture on women in the Gospel in Giulianova

Biblist Rosalba Manes will lead a public lecture titled ‘Myriam e le altre. Il Vangelo delle donne’ (Myriam and the others. The Gospel of women) at the Kursaal in Giulianova on Friday, September 11.

Manes, a professor of biblical theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University, will explore the roles of female figures within the New Testament and the historical-cultural context of the Sacred Scriptures. The event is organized by Don Enzo Manes, parish priest of San Flaviano, and is supported by the Municipality of Giulianova through its Culture Department and the Equal Opportunities Commission.

The lecture aims to provide a theological and historical reflection on women in the evangelical tradition, appealing to both religious audiences and those interested in contemporary thought and biblical studies.
