Rosario and Castelar hold local market fairs with discounted goods

From June 17 to June 20, Rosario’s municipal program “Feria en tu Barrio” will operate in three neighbourhoods – Rocamora, Bajada Grande and Plaza Sáenz Peña – offering fresh meat, vegetables, fruit, dairy, eggs, honey, sweets, bakery items and yerba at popular prices. The initiative, highlighted by Subsecretary of Production Oscar Bustamante, aims to support local entrepreneurs, producers and cooperatives while keeping food affordable for residents.

In the nearby city of Castelar, a Father’s Day promotion runs the same dates. Shoppers who spend more than AR$100,000 across two or more participating stores will receive a complimentary bottle of wine. Over 80 local businesses, including clothing shops, supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies and specialty stores, are taking part, with the wine giveaway point located at the Chamber of Commerce on Carlos Casares and Arias.
