Rosario Autodrome to Host TC Pick Up and Turismo Carretera Events

The municipal government of Rosario announced that the Autódromo Municipal will host two major Argentine motor‑sport categories this year. At a press conference on 28 July, Mayor Pablo Javkin, ACTC president Hugo Mazzacane, city secretary Sebastián Chale and autódrome director Fabián Svegliati confirmed the calendar.

TC Pick Up will race at the 4 km circuit on 15–16 August, marking the category’s first appearance in Rosario. Turismo Carretera will return for 24–25 October, its first event in the city after a seven‑year hiatus. The October race will be the third round of the Copa de Oro and will help decide the next champion. Drivers such as Mariano Werner, Agustín Canapino and Facundo Ardusso are expected to compete.

The mayor highlighted recent upgrades to the track and surrounding infrastructure, including works on Avenue Newbery and the local airport, to ensure the venue meets the standards required for the top‑level series.
