Rosario Central prepares for Copa Libertadores clash with Corinthians

Rosario Central will face Brazilian side Corinthians in the first leg of the Copa Libertadores round of 16. Ticket sales begin on 7 August at 13:00 for members who hold a Libertadores pack or a league subscription, with prices of 20,000 pesos for popular seats and 45,000 pesos for plateas. A second sales phase opens on 10 August for all other members. Purchasers must have their club membership fees up to date, and seats are allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis through the online platform.

Earlier in the week the club hosts a domestic league match against Aldosivi at the Gigante stadium, kicking off at 19:30. Coach Jorge Almirón must decide on replacements for suspended defender Emanuel Coronel and for Colombian midfielder Jaminton Campaz, who is expected to sit on the bench. Options include Facundo Mallo, Elías Verón, Julián Fernández and others, while the match will be refereed by Pablo Echavarría.
