Airport security incidents reported in Argentina and Mexico

Security incidents and legal disputes have been reported at major airports in Argentina and Mexico.

At the Rosario International Airport in Argentina, an abandoned carry-on bag triggered emergency protocols and a partial evacuation on Monday afternoon. The Airport Security Police (PSA) conducted a controlled detonation of the luggage, which was later found to contain only clothing and personal items. The incident caused delays for several flights, including an Aerolíneas Argentinas service.

In Mexico, multiple issues have surfaced at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM). Actor Alejandro Speitzer has publicly denounced the theft of his belongings, claiming his locked suitcases were broken into and looted. He has filed a formal complaint and raised concerns regarding corruption at the terminal.

Additionally, María Guadalupe Espinosa, owner of the taxi service Casadey, has issued a public statement alleging gender-based patrimonial violence and defamation. She claims that legal representatives from competing taxi companies at AICM are using misinformation to damage her reputation and illegally displace her from the market.
