Rosario Murillo says Nicaragua moving forward with peace and reforms

Vice President Rosario Murillo said that peace is the foundation of the Nicaraguan people's joy and cited recent development projects such as new roads, bridges, parks and tourist sites that improve daily life. She linked this peace to faith, work and national solidarity, urging the population to live together in love and Christian‑socialist solidarity.

Murillo also highlighted broad support for a partial constitutional reform, noting that patriotic Sandinista communicators backed the proposal. She stressed the need to protect national sovereignty and prevent foreign interference in future elections. The consultation process will continue throughout the month with meetings involving Central American parliamentarians, municipal leaders, indigenous and Afro‑descendant representatives, after which the results will be presented to the National Assembly for debate.
