Rosario women's U13 basketball tournament kicks off

The Interasociaciones women's U13 basketball competition started on Friday, 26 March in Rosario, Argentina, and will run through Sunday, 28 March. Games are being held at the Náutico and Sportivo Federal arenas, with teams from Santa Fe, Cañada de Gómez, Rafaela, Rosario A, Rosario B, Noroeste, Venado Tuerto and Oeste Santafesino. The event includes both the traditional 5 × 5 format and a 3 × 3 side competition.

In the opening matches Rosario A defeated Venado Tuerto 135–33, highlighted by Francesca Benítez Ríos (31 points, 12 rebounds) and Agustina Boccia Seguí (20 points, 16 rebounds). Rosario B lost to the Santafesina side 88–29. Rosario also won its 3 × 3 games, 6–5 at Náutico and 7–4 at Sportivo Federal. The tournament’s schedule features double‑turn classification rounds on Saturday and semifinals and finals on Sunday.
