Rosate mourns the death of local councilor Marta Colombo

The community of Rosate and the wider Abbiatense region are mourning the sudden death of Marta Colombo, a 44-year-old local councilor and social worker. Colombo passed away following a sudden illness that required hospitalization.

In her professional life, Colombo served as a social worker for the Azienda Sociale Sud Est Milano (Assemi) and was a singer in the musical group ‘Libera interpretazione’. As a member of the Rosate municipal council, she was recognized for her commitment to vulnerable social groups and her positive approach to civic responsibility.

Rosate Mayor Carlo Tarantola described her as an immense person and a trusted confidante who provided solutions to problems without being polemical. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 27, at the Church of Santo Stefano in Rosate, following a public viewing at the municipal council chamber.
