Rosatom completes 7th 'Knowledge Icebreaker' Arctic expedition
Rosatom has completed its 7th annual 'Knowledge Icebreaker' international science and education expedition. The 10-day journey utilized the '50 Let Pobedy' nuclear icebreaker, traveling a route from Murmansk to the North Pole and Franz Josef Land before returning to Murmansk.
High school students from various countries participated in the program, which included an aerospace laboratory and scientific experiments. Notable achievements during the trip included the launch of a radiosonde to test communication along the Northern Sea Route and the testing of the world's first recoverable stratosphere platform. Among the participants was Turkish student Alper Tapkı.
