Rose Ayling-Ellis begins filming second series of ITV drama in Hertfordshire
Filming has commenced for the second series of the ITV crime drama ‘Code of Silence’ in Hertfordshire. Production crews have moved to Wheathampstead, with filming observed on the High Street outside Lakshmi Living.
The series stars Rose Ayling-Ellis as Alison Brooks, a deaf canteen worker who becomes central to a high-stakes police investigation by using her lip-reading skills to monitor a dangerous gang. Ayling-Ellis is joined by co-star Kieron Moore, who plays Liam Barlow, and Charlotte Ritchie, who portrays DS Ashleigh Francis.
The production previously utilized locations in St Albans, including The Garibaldi pub and Fade to Black coffee shop, during its first series.
