Rose & Crown at EPCOT to close earlier for 2027 refurbishment

Walt Disney World Resort has updated its refurbishment schedule for the Rose & Crown located in the United Kingdom World Showcase Pavilion at EPCOT. The closure is now set to begin on January 11, 2027, which is approximately one month earlier than the previously announced date of February 15, 2027.

In addition to the Rose & Crown Dining Room, the updated plan now includes the closure of the Rose & Crown Pub for “planned maintenance.” Previously, it was anticipated that the pub might remain operational during the dining room's refurbishment. Disney expects both areas to reopen later in 2027, though a specific reopening date has not been provided.

The maintenance is expected to involve standard repairs and upkeep. During the closure, guests seeking British cuisine can still visit the nearby Yorkshire County Fish Shop, which will remain open and continue serving its regular menu.
