Rosebel Gold Mines invests USD 45,000 in Nieuw Koffiekamp

Rosebel Gold Mines (RGM) has committed nearly USD 45,000 toward community resilience initiatives in Nieuw Koffiekamp. The investment focuses on education and social support for vulnerable residents facing economic uncertainty.

As part of the educational support, all 63 students at the Johannes Kwamieschool received gift cards to purchase essential school supplies, such as notebooks, pens, and bags, for the new school year. This initiative aims to alleviate financial pressure on families and ensure students can focus on their studies.

Additionally, RGM is supporting elderly residents through a monthly food parcel project. This program will provide 39 seniors with essential food items from July through December 2026.
