Rosehill racing features Romeo’s Choice and Fully Lit in 1400m handicap

Several notable racehorses are set to compete at Rosehill this weekend in the Racing And Sports Handicap (1400m).

Trainer Richard Litt has opted to run Romeo’s Choice at the 1400m distance rather than the 1200m Asahi Super Dry Handicap. Although the seven-year-old gelding has yet to win at this distance in five attempts, Litt aims to test his capability to open up more racing opportunities in future preparations. Romeo’s Choice enters the race in good form and with race fitness.

Fully Lit, a Tulloch Lodge gelding and former Epsom Handicap runner-up, is also resuming from a long layoff. Co-trainer Adrian Bott scratched the horse from the 1200m Missile Stakes, opting for the 1400m distance to better suit his return. The campaign is intended to build form toward the Epsom Handicap. The field also includes the 2025 Spring Champion Stakes winner, Attica.
