Rosenborg defeats Tromsø 5–3 in Eliteserien comeback

Rosenborg secured a significant victory against Tromsø in the Eliteserien, winning 5–3 after a dominant first half. The team initially established a commanding 5–0 lead, highlighted by an early goal from Ole Selnæs.

Despite the strong start, Tromsø managed to fight back in the second half, reducing the deficit to 5–3. Rosenborg coach Freyr Alexandersson noted the high level of play during the first 60 minutes but acknowledged the team's struggle in the final half-hour.

This performance marks a major turnaround for Rosenborg. Under Alexandersson's leadership since June, the team has moved from the relegation zone to competing for European spots, currently sitting just three points behind fourth-placed Molde.
